We are always looking for ways to improve our program so we can provide the best education for our students and the elderly residents they will care for. We offer a 3 week accelerated course at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that each student who takes our course will pass. We have state approved guidelines that we must adhere to that assures that when a student successfully passes our course they have the qualifications set by the Federal and State government and more importantly, the skills to care for vulnerable elderly residents. If a student has a problem with any part of our program we have a grievance procedure that the student is encouraged to utilize. The grievance policy is listed in the student catalog and reviewed on the first day of class. If you have a complaint call us ...read more

I would recommend this School to anyone... I had a very good experience as did the rest of our class.. the instructor was very good and did their job very well... reading some of these complaints crack me up... You cant expect an instructor to pass you if you can't even pass the skills in class before going to the nursing home, that's the point of doing skills in class before hand, also once you get to clinical you should know your stuff and wont need to ask for help from the instructor.. I feel we were taught very well, instructor got right down to the point and taught us very well and in a timely matter, if we needed help we could come in early or stay a bit later if needed be... instructor was always very professional, no matter if you pass all your quizzes and or tests doesn't mean your good with the hands on stuff, and If instructor doesn't feel your ready I don't blame the school at all for not letting you continue to clinical where real residents are... ...read more

Tomorrow is my last day of the class. My instructor Mary has been fantastic. She really knows her stuff. This is an accelerated class. If you do your homework, take notes in class and study - you will be succesful. Clinicals are a time to show what you have learned - you are being tested - of course the instructor will not answer your question when the skills are being tested. Our class was small (7). To the mom that wrote below - Wake up - your child should be speaking for herself - if she is old enough to take the class - she is old enough to speak for herself. Remember she is working on a human being - if she is doing something that may harm the resident - she should be stopped. This has been a very positive experience for me. A for Mary!!! ...read more

I am attending class now and I think these reviews are so wrong. The two ladies that failed the class didn't know what they were doing and kept failing their skills they were putting us all behind. I wouldn't want them to care for my 80 year old mother they could'nt even change a diaper. They shouldn't have signed up for an accelerated class. It is fast paced and these ladies just came from another country three months ago. I think it is unfair to mary my instructor and Stepping stones i have only heard good things about this school. the price is fair the instructors are excellent. S.s is highly recommended I have three friends who attended and passed and started working right away. Glad I seen this. There are more than just test to take there is hands on too....and if I failed a class I would love the chance to come back and pay for the part I failed instead of the whole class again.....wow that is whats wrong with this world no one wants to take personal responsibility they blame ...read more

The lady that wrote that bad review is a hateful person. Stepping Stone has been in business for over 7 years and has an outstanding reputation in this industry. Too bad people like that can write whatever they want to try to discredit an awesome program without the lie being checked for truthfulness first. Stepping Stone is State licensed and has a pass rate over 98 % with students taking state exam. ...read more
