I really enjoy the flower business!! Now that Easter is over we know we're heading full force into spring! We have a couple more holidays coming up like Secretaries Day (Oops! Administrative Professionals Day!) on April 25th and Mother's Day on May 13th, but the everyday stuff is what is enjoyable. There's always something different going on. We could be planning a wedding, welcoming a new baby or preparing for a funeral. Our customers come in for so many different occasions and such a wide variety of emotions and we share in those, happy or sad. Today I helped a customer turn a cake pan she recieved as a gift into a beautiful centerpiece with flowering plants and a candle. I also made a fruit and pastry basket and sent it to a house where the family had just lost a very loving mother and wife without warning. My customer couldn't wait for funeral arrangements to be made, she wanted them to know how much she felt their loss right away.
