Linden is a city in Genesee County, Michigan. The population was 2,861 at the 2000 census. Linden was established in the 19th century and was named after the Linden tree. One of the most popular attractions in Linden is its downtown area, more specifically the intersection of Broad Street and Bridge Street. This area of town is lined with specialty shops, boutiques, and fine restaurants. The largest schools here are Linden High School and Lake Fenton High School. Kettering University is 16 miles away in Flint, Michigan.
