I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Grand Rapids to put in a new drain/sewage line for my new bathroom & they called me back right away. Other places I called & I have not hear anything back for over 2 weeks. Roto-Rooter Plumbers of Grand Rapids came out & completed the work in only a few hours. They cleaned up nicely as well. Started a load of laundry and came back to find the laundry room floor flooded. The sewer line to the main in the road was completely clogged with roots. We instantly called Roto-Rooter of Grand Rapids. Greg came out and cleaned the lines and discussed future things we could do for maintenance. What a great plumber! Edd from Roto-Rooter came the same day we called to fix the kitchen faucet. I was panicking the night before when the faucet broke (what would I do without it), and was relieved that he could come out the same day. At the same time, I was concerned because the time he was coming was my toddler's naptime, and my worktime (I work from home). He was so quiet I barely knew he was here. We live in a neighborhood where everyone struggles with roots. The trees are very old and there isn't anything you can do about it besides regular maintenance- BUT, you need to know who to call and Roto Rooter is the place that everyone calls! Our first time- now 6 years ago, we dealt with another company, they left our house filthy and had no idea what they doing, essentially wasting our time and money. Now, when I call, I let them know to send the hydro-flush equipment and each time 2008, and 2011- they are here in a timely fashion, work hard, and get the job done to perfection. I had other plumbers come out to try to fix my drian, they tried but just couldn't clear it the whole length. Then I called Roto-Rooterm they cam out with there Hydro-jet and cleared all the roots from house to street. I should have called Roto-Rooter first, it would have saved me money, and time.
