Eryone has their own check list for church but this church is one hot mess. THere is no order and that's unsettling. YOU have a pastor who s retiring and a husband wife assistant pastors who are completely clueless and act as if this is their playground. THis church is all over the place. Also, they do close to nothing for the needy. Yes next to nothing. They DO NOT bring the needy in to their church. IT's a group ( a select group), of which is not large who run andrun over this church. It's not progressive nor is it connected with today's world. IN a word it's Stale. SEt in its ways and going nowhere fast. NOt my cup of tea. Also, way too much inner grumblings of gossip everywhere. Try some other churches in area that atleast are into the 90's. St. LUke's is a church that will stay in the status quo for ever until they go bankrupt. ...read more

Years ago my entire family went to this church for a few years and then it got strange. MOre n more stories were going around about the inner circle at st. LUkes. My folks are pretty conservative but even they were starting topick up on all the b.s. I guess some kind of scandal was going on between the pastor and a church member and then all kinds of stories about the pastor on his SOLO trips with no witnesses going to see women. Who knows. All I know is his breath always smelled bc he got way too close to people. If he smelled a few years ago how the hell does he smell now?
