What Does it Mean to be a Green Carpet Cleaner?

GREEN Carpet Cleaning: Carpet cleaning is quickly evolving as consumers become better educated on the benefits of “Going Green”. But what does it really mean to be a green cleaner? Some companies are advertising themselves as such, but simply changing your cleaning products is only a small step. Oxi Fresh uses cleaning products that are 100% biodegradable and safe for children and pets, without sacrificing the results that customers demand. In addition, our low moisture cleaning system, which was recently awarded the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Seal of Approval, conserves an average of 8 gallons of water per room versus water extraction methods (and dries within an hour). And since your doors remain closed while we clean, you will save energy as your furnace or A/C will not work overtime during our visit. Oxi Fresh is committed to being green in all that we do! Carpet Cleaning Tip: Baking soda is a natural deodorizer and cleaner. Vacuum the carpet thoroughly by vacuuming crisscross over the carpet, so the fibers move to each side. Oxi Fresh Receives CRI Seal of Approval

The Carpet and Rug Institute, or CRI, was founded to promote the development of the carpet industry. They work hand-in-hand with carpet manufacturers, sellers and cleaners in order to establish standards and practices that foster growth and quality service. One of the ways they do this is through the Seal of Approval program. Carpet cleaning companies can submit their cleaning system to the CRI, who in turn will perform a series of rigorous tests. Their tests cover more than just cleaning power, they also inspect things like carpet wear over multiple cleanings, the pH levels of the products and even re-staining propensity. If a company passes these tests – which isn’t easy – they’ll become a Seal of Approval service provider. Earning this certification is a sign to customers that a cleaning company can be trusted. That’s why we are proud to announce thatOxi FreshCarpet Cleaningnow has the CRI’s Seal of Approval! We take great pride in the service that we provide, so earning this designation will further enhance our credibility with our customers and community. ...read more
