Dollar General

Times are hard and money is tight, that's why I went to Dollar General to buy 2 birthday cards and batteries with rolled coins (dimes, nickels and pennies). The person at the check out, I think she's the store manager, refused to take the change. I couldn't believe she could do that! I left and went to our local meat market and bought the batteries. I still need to buy the birthday cards. But I have no intention of returning to that store. I'll go where they don't have a problem taking my change. Too bad for Dollar General, as we shopped there every payday and spent about $60-$70 each time. (P.S.--the 1star rating is due to the store managers behavior, not the store itself) ...read more
