For those looking for genealogy in the Calhoun County area and surrounding counties. This is a most go place.\t\n\t\nThey have six microfilm machines to use and a large set of drawers with microfilm of newspapers, births, deaths, marriages and census'.\t\n\t\nThey have a computer set up as an index source, just type in a surname if you want to see all the people by that surname or you can also and the first name and it will go to that place in the index (handy if your looking for Smith or Jones type surnames). There is always someone to help you in the use of this computer if you have trouble with these things.\t\n\t\nThey also have other reference material such as the Collier Collection which is a set of newspaper clippings and other information assembled by Mr. Collier that has been donated.
