Recently I have booked class "PADI Open Water Diver" for myself and my daughter at the Huron Scuba Adventures The offered me to buy required snorkeling equipment from them. I have decided to buy it and next day I have received phone call from Huron Scuba and person told me: "Because you have not provided approved equipment 2 weeks before the class you will be expelled from the class." I have very strong feeling this was punishment for me for refusing to buy equipment at Huron Scuba, and this feeling based on following reasons: 1. Nowhere in confirmation letter or on PADI web site was any information that your equipment SHOULD BE APPROVED 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE CLASS - it was said, that your equipment SHOULD BE INSPECTED 2 weeks before the class. 2. Me and my daughter where expelled from the class NEXT DAY after I've told Huron Scuba I will buy equipment online.
