About Wytopitlock, ME
Wytopitlock is a part of Reed Plantation, Maine known for its extreme northern location. An unincorporated village within the plantation, many of the residents are descended from the original settlers to the area, the Clifford, Rollins, Prouty, and Plumber families. There are three schools in the village, Wytopitlock Elementary School, Webster School, and Knoxville School. The Reed Plantation Fire Department is located in Wytopitlock. Local businesses include D & R Custom Meat Cutting, Rising Sun Outfitters, and Elves and Angels. Wytopitlock is near several lakes and wilderness areas, enhancing both recreation opportunities and the rural, remote feel of the village.
