Alternative Modular Homes dba Palmer Development Corp filed a frivolous lien on my home. Their final invoice to me was $90, invoice was post marked November 4th. Check mailed within days, they filed a Mechanics lien on my home for $90.63 (they added interest) on November 16th. The lien was filed 12 days after the post mark of the invoice and 23 days after the date of the associated invoice. I offered to cancel payment on the check they claimed they did not receive and hand deliver the $90 on 11/19 (26 days after the date of the invoice), the day I found out about the lien and they refused to accept payment. Stay far away from Alternative Modular Homes. Now I'm left to get this frivolous lien off of my property. ...read more
