We are the Stewarts from Prince Edward Island, Canada and we were staying at the camp ground across the highway from Anglers in July of this year. When out walking one evening, we went by the restaurant and the delicious smells that were coming from within were just too much to ignore.The meals were excellent and the service was teriffic along with a very friendly staff.We just had to go back the next night and try something different! They were very busy as it was a Friday evening but again we received the same great meal and great service and all at a very reasonable price. My husband and I have been to Anglers in Newport several times and the food is excellent. The seafood is so delicious and the garlic mashed potato, pickled beets are so good. Thumbs up. ...read more
