I met with this lovely lady Tana and follwed her as she inspected a house in Danforth, Maine for me. I did not purchase the property. We had an inspection because our banker strongly recommended it. She told us that Northern Maine is just starting to become educated about inspections. Other states and Southern Maine have one as part of EVERY sale. We are very happy that we did have an inspection because there were things wrong that brought the price of the house we wanted down to a more affordable mortgage. ...read more
