Hello my name is Amissa Demmons I was refered to you by Holly Whitney andf desperately needx your help. This has been an ongoing case for over a year and my present attorney that I hired over a year ago, Jefferey Toothaker is simply not helping me at all. This is a custody battle with my deceased boyfriends mother, grandmother to my 3 year old so, Taylor. She presently has temporary guardianship that I agreed to after Taylors father died of an overdose while I was incarcerated in 2011 for a crime I committed in 2009. I was told by Mr. Toothaker that I would immediately get Taylor back upon release on July 17th 2012, that did not happen. She now is asking for full rights of my son. I have been to court on this matter only one time about a month after I was released from prison and had not yet found a job or my own home, hadn't adjusted yet the judge said. I was awarded weekly 2 hour supervised visitation with my son that have been taking place at Families United not because the judge requested that, but because Cindy, grandmother, would not approve of visits anywhere else. Well I am not even getting all of those visits due to the fact that she is always cancelling and wont reschedule. I have obviously said a lot to you at onve and there is much more to the case.
