YAMABIBS - Artistic, Creative Clothing Protectors and Aprons

How did Yamabibs Come into existence? I was in an auto accident while working. I was waiting for a red light to change when a car slammed into me. The car had $700 but my life was changed forever. I hit my head on the headrest and sustained a "mild traumatic brain injury" (MTBI). I totally lost my short-term memory, speaking ability, cognitive reasoning and balance. Shaking hands and poor coordination are just 2 of the many problems TBI people have. These issues turn into nasty food stains on the front of your clothing. The first bibs I made was for a woman named Lydia in my rehabilitation program. She wore beautiful silk clothing and ruined it every day. Everyone else in rehab asked for bibs after they saw Lydia's. The ladies wanted bright colors and flowers and the men wanted sports and male themes. I made everyone a bib for every day of the week. My husband who made the first pattern for me named them "YAMABIBS". Sewing has been my lifelong hobby. I made many of my own clothes and my childrens as well as gifts for friends before the accident. Yamabibs are custom-made clothing protectors or adult bibs in their own personal bag, adult aprons, matching kid and adult aprons, bandannas for people and pets. Everything is made out of 100% cotton, machine wash and dry, special non-lint collecting velcro clasps. On the web siteWWW.YAMABIBS.COM you can choose from over 50 constantly changing fabrics. I buy only 10 yards of fabric at a time and keep changing the fabrics. I can also find theme fabrics for businesses and have wholesale pricing for orders of 12 or more Yamabibs.   I offer a 20% discount to anyone with a Traumatic Brain Injury, MS, or other disability. Paypal does not permit the discount so you must phone me to arrange it. I also help people pick and match fabrics on the phone as an additional free service. ...read more
