I have been told I owe Capital Equity Fund 15,023.72, I have not heard from them in years. They have a lien on my house I own with my brother. I would like to get this off the house. These lawyers help big corporations steal from the poor. Credit Acceptance Corporation sold me a Dodge Caravan with a bad transmission 14 years ago. They refused to fix or help fix the problem even though I had had the van for less than a year and had been making my monthly payments with an 18% interest rate. As a single mom of 4, working as a nurse's assistant ($10 hourly), I couldn't afford $3000 to fix the van so I gave it back. It was sold and I was left with a $5000 balance that I never paid because I thought Credit Acceptance Corporation had profited enough from me.
