I absolutely love the Blueberry Patch Motel. The rooms are spotless, the cabins are cozy and sooo quiet! The proprietors are the kindest, most accommodating people one could ever hope to meet. I have stayed there several times. The location is perfect for your tour of Downeast Maine. The motel is centrally located between Acadia National park and West Quoddy head, a perfect place to rest after a day of adventure. Blueberry Patch Motel

I have stayed many times at the BPM and in fact plan another short trip there in August. It has a comfortable motel, or your choice of a small cottage. The cottages are on the tiny side, but are extremely clean and cosy (as is the motel - I've stayed in both). The proprietors are warm and welcoming. The place has an inground pool, again on the small side (but I've never seen it crowded) but again, immaculate. If you're going to be in the area, you honestly can't do much better than the Blueberry Patch Motel, especially with its extremely reasonable rates. ...read more
