My family and friends are a big part of my business. My family helps out when they can -- my son works with me when he is not in school. My daughter is a business major and will likely take on some more responsibility as time goes. Time Flies!
It was not long ago i wrote a quick passage about Spring and summer but now look at us... 40+ inches of snow on the ground... enough of that... 2008 has arrived and we look forward to a great year. 07 was a good year for us and while it slowed down a great deal the end of December, I think we welcomed it... it was a nice break. Now lets get back to work. This year we hope to help people more with their mold concerns, conducting air and surface samples and having them analyzed by a lab so we can help people with mold or other allergens that may be bothering them. We will continue to off building/home inspections and encourage all to have them done regardless of the price you are paying for them... not too long ago a couple landed a great deal on a home... a fixer upper... but we found MAJOR structural damage in the foundation. Now this was a deal killer... while they did not mind fixing up the place... $5-10k on foundation repairs was not in the cards... they later found a nice deal on a 3300 sf home which was perfect for them... things do work out.
