East Wilton is an area in western Maine. It is located U.S. Route 2 in Franklin County. East Wilton is a village of the town of Wilton. East Wilton is approximately 14 miles southeast of the Mt. Blue State Park. At the time of the 2000 census, the population of the Wilton area was 4,123. Franklin County public schools include Weld Elementary School and Phillips Elementary School. Local businesses include Hobo Brands and Dexter Supply.

My wife and I have lived all over the world (including France), and finally returned to Maine. Wilton Wine Merchants is without a doubt one of the finest wine stores we have ever been in. I can't speak highly enough about his selection; it's easy to tell it is truly a labor of love for the proprietor.
