I had the a wonderful time last Saturday at the Melting Pot. It was my first time trying fondue, and I loved it. My family and I enjoyed a pleasant and tasty salad, followed by a pot of molten cheese with bread and veggies. Then we cooked shrimp, steak and chicken in a broth. It was a really nice family outing. I was born in Loch Raven Village which surrounds the restaurant and remember my parents going to the Crackpot 30 years ago. I myself now frequent the bar area and occasionally bring my own children to the restaurant. I have been to the Crackpot recently and have tried the new all Jumbo Lump crabcakes which were delicious. I personaly have not tried the steamed crabs in quite sometime but have heard some pretty good reviews from the regular customers at the bar.
