I have been going to this place for almost two years. After last night I will not go back. We used to go several nights a week but down to once a week with this current manager. A women was being hassled and he would not stop it. The manager kept screaming at her until he was red in the face. He kept yelling sit down and shut. The thing was she was sitting down and not saying anything, She told him to stop yelling at her and he got worse, told her that he was the manager and could treat her any way he wanted to. She simply asked some guy to give her some space and the guy started hassling her. Come to find out it was one of the manager's friends that was hassling this poor women. The bartenders are drunk half the time. This place has really gone down hill since they changed managers. The manager is too busy chatting with his friends to provide good service. It is Sat. May 15 and several customers have enjoyed another wonderful evening of exceptional food and drink at the Royal Mile Pub in Wheaton, Maryland. the highlight of the evening was the performance of Paul Ganon(Guitar) and Neil Foley(Fiddle). There are many American bars calling themsleves "pubs" and a few good Irish pubs in our metro area, however, there is no other Scottish Pub like the Royal Mile Pub just outside the beltway north of silver Spring.
