A broken axle shaft left my transmission disabled at the top of a busy exit ramp off a highway about mid-day. I thought it was the transmission itself. Dave from Speedy Towing arrived 10 minutes after calling AAA, got the car hooked up faster than I would have thought possible, took me to a nearby gas station, allowed me to use his phone to cancel some PM meetings, and brought me and the car to my own mechanic about 20 miles away, dropping me off at my home on his way back to the highway. Left me stranded!‎ - ‎ - Today After having allstate and havign them put me in direct contact with their "office" I was assured that I would be picked up within an hour to an hour and a half. When I called them back to see when they would arrive, I was told that I needed to call allstate again becuase they lost the PO number.
