My family has been using the services of Steve Hoffmaster for many. We first started having our vehicles serviced, and repaired, when Mr. Hoffmaster was at a different location and followed him to his current location. We totally trust Hoffmaster and his qualified ASE certified technicians with all our automotive maintenance and repair work. The prices are competitive with other auto shops in the area, the work performed is in accordance with the car's manufacturer's standards and this shop stands behind their guarantees and warantees. I would, and have, recommended this auto care shop to both family and friends. When Mr. Hoffmaster says you need something fixed, he means it, and when he says that you really don't need to fix something at the present time, he means that also. Avoid, unless you want to fix the same repair twice at overpriced rates! I took my car in to get the clutch replaced as it seemed to be slipping after ten years of use. They replaced it, and ten months later my clutch was totally dead. 10 years for the first clutch, 10 months for the second! They wouldn't fix it for free, although they did get me a free clutch part as it was still under warranty. Thus, they sacrificed nothing and admitted to no wrongdoing whatsoever. I considered taking it somewhere else to replace the clutch and then taking them to small claims court, but in the end I just had to get it fixed as it was undrivable. I am wondering if they actually even replaced the clutch the first time, or if they just adjusted it and then charged me $1,300 for the clutch repair. I guess now I will never know. In summary, shoddy workmanship, not standing behind thier work, and possible fraud. I sure as heck am never going back there. ...read more

I have been going to Hoffmasters for 4 years and have complete faith in their service. They have always been courteous, helpful and very honest. They have gone out of their way to make me a satisfied customer. I would recommend them to anyone. ...read more
