When I spoke to the manager, John, and he was very dismissive as if this is something that happens all the time. SMH. It's too bad because they actually do good job with crabs. However, the parking lot was always full, so we knew that something good was going on inside. The menu has many great choices even for the non seafood eater. I even wondered if we were not really welcomed there as tipping African Americans. The first time I thought well maybe it's just me, but then the second time with the same waitress,I thought maybe this is just how they treat people. I am not sure that I want to go a third time to test the waters. The restaurant is beautful and the crabcakes are delicious. However, the service has left a bad taste in not only my mouth, but the mouths of other African Americans who have experienced the same as a Pappas diner. ...read more
