I don't usually write these kinds of reviews, but this place is such a poor excuse for a tutoring center that I feel compelled to comment. Not only did my son, who attended Huntington for SEVEN MONTHS, not improve in math (despite the fact that the director ASSURED us that he would improve), he actually became more confused after meeting with several of Huntington's tutors. But my complaint is less with the teachers than with the director, because he was the one who PROMISED that Huntington would make a difference. And while it did make a difference, the difference wasn't a good one, and now I'm THOUSANDS of dollars poorer and really, really angry. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. ...read more

Not sure what the point of this place is, because I can tell you that they sure didn't do much for my kids. They charged us a bunch of money for sure but did none of the things they promised they would do to help our kids. I'm so angry that I wasted THOUSANDS of dollars just to hear a bunch of excuses from the owner about why their service didn't help my kids. I have to agree with the other reviews: Huntington Lutherville falls below expectations. The curriculum is fine, but the teachers are just so-so, and the tuition is way too high, especially considering that I was never sure in the few months that my daughter went there exactly what I was getting for my money. What we DIDN'T get from Huntington, despite all kinds of promises at signing time, was an improvement in my daughter's grades. And when I called the director on this fact, all I got was excuses and confusing explanations instead of a real plan to engage my daughter. Want an EXCELLENT tutoring experience? Try Sylvan in Towson. The teachers there have been phenomenal, and my daughter is off to a great start this school year. ...read more
