I really appreciate the service I get when I take my vehicles here. I have been taken advantage of by so many mechanics in the area and it has become so frustrating that I have been leaning on my BMW mechanic (Matt) to work on my domestic vehicles. It was difficult because this particular BMW mechanic was/is in such high demand that it was becoming difficult to get an appointment with him. Fortunately, he recommended that I go see J.R. at Bent Just Right and because I trust Matt, I decided to give this shop a try. I went to Bent Just Right to have a Flowmaster muffler installed on my Cherokee and I casually mentioned that I was trying to figure out why my transmission would pop out of gear from time to time. Low and behold, the mechanic (J.R.) surprised me because he found out what was causing it to come out of gear and he also fixed it! It ended up being an issue regarding a missing grommet which held the cable tight. J.R. fabricated a piece to fit and he installed it. I have since driven the Jeep approximately 7,000 miles. which included two round trips from Texas and back. and it still works flawlessly. J.R.. could have easily told me that I needed a new transmission (which is what I thought I needed) but he was honest and he created a solution for under $50! The Flowmaster muffler and the installation of it was $700 less than a prior quote I received for a basic muffler. My Jeep was also returned to me the same day I dropped it off.
