As a manager of an auto repair shop we get a lot of cars in with bent wheels. Ye Ole Wheel Shop fixed them right the first time. We delivered our wheel at the end of April to be fixed, and they said they wold call when it was ready......we never received a call. We called and they said our wheel had been ready for a while...well? When I arrived to pick the wheel up, I couldn't find my yellow slip, and they were not very helpful in trying to help me find my wheel. They being tire & wheel people managed to mount my tire back onto my wheel backwards, even though it says on the wheel "this side in" in the fact that they do this for a living they should be able to do this minor task. This specialty shop is not special by any means. They pick over the price for everything and at the end of the day, try to find ways to charge you more for the simple service you may ask of them. They told me my rims were done, but the next phone call said they needed to fix the seal as I had must broken it when I bent the rim. However, the tires had AIR in them when I dropped them off. After a little research, it was suggested to me by another wheel specialist told me they must have broken the seal themselves while they were fixing my rims. It cost me an extra $100.
