About Dayton, MD
Dayton is an unincorporated community with a population of about 10,000 people and it is located in Howard County in the state of Maryland. It is in the area some would the central portion of the state although it is still relatively close to the ocean on two sides. The community is home to the Dayton Daze Parade where many of the community gather to celebrate their hometown and there are plenty of activities to participate in for all. One of the best things to do in Dayton would be to visit Greenbridge Pottery which is located there. It is run by Rebecca Moy Behre and her husband Evan. The pottery is hand produced and is exquisite. Dayton is also part of the Baltimore metro area and participates in the Howard County Public School System. It is very easy to commute from Dayton to Baltimore if you are working and living between the two places.
