Modern Contempo is unreliable and irresponsive. I ordered a white floor lamp more than 2 months back. It is not being delivered, and no response why it is being delayed. I called and emailed them multiple times. They said all staff were in Italy for a show, and they can deliver it within a month. I waited another month, but it was not delivered again without any responses. I emailed them again. What they say is that there is a port strike in the CA ports, so they don't have inventory, and then no response for another month. I am still waiting. For the multiple delays, they never update me the situation before I contact them. Never buy any products from Modern Contempo. They get money, and no delivery, and no response whatsoever before I contact and ask them. ...read more

Modern Contempo is extremely unreliable and irresponsive. I ordered a white floor lamp more than 2 months back. Still it is not being delivered, and no response why it is being delayed. So, I called and emailed them multiple times, and they said that all staff were in Italy for a show. They said that they can deliver it within month. So, I waited another month, and it was not delivered for another month without any responses. I will wait another week, and am thinking of filing ModernContempo to the FTC's Bereau of Consumer Protection for their unfair, deceptive and fraudulent business practice. I have never taken this kind of extreme action. But, now I decided to take the action, because Modern Contempo is the worst online business entity that I have never seen.
