The facility is good the grounds are beautiful when you drive up.. the facility has been rennovated and when you walk in it doesn't smell like a nursing home. The rooms on the STC (short term care unit is pretty big both the double occupany and private rooms has its own full bath and a walk in shower . The Rehab team is Awesome very pleasant group of individuals always smiling even when its early in the morning .. The nursing assitants are 50/50 you have some are nice and some are in a rush..I had a nursing assitant's both day and nigh were a charm, was so sweet they took her time and always greeted me with the warmest smile, even spoke to me about my life and we joked and talked about their life . (oh Well!) the food is okay I like the salad, soup, breakfast is my favoriate part and lunch the dining hall was nice and we got served nice china and got a change to converse with other people that were there on the unit. Terrible inedible food. Too many senile residents. more like a nursing home than assisted living. Atmosphere of a hospital. Very little privacy. Aids collecting garbage from rooms in the middle of the night ,waking people up. ...read more
