It's HonFest, Hon!

It's that time of year again!  All of Hampden is gearing up for HonFest which has been expanded to three days! Starting Friday evening, June 11, with a concert in Roosevelt Park, Cafe Hon, HonFest, and the merchants of Hampden (Hampden Village Merchants Association--http://hampdenmerchants.com/) welcome you to our little bit of paradise for a rollicking good time. Avenue Antiques will be open until 9 p.m. Friday and will open early and stay open late for Saturday and Sunday festivities, too. Woodward's Auction House will be hosting a record show and auction that weekend, too.  I saw an original Leadbelly disc being offered and the tables are filling up with quality 78s, 45s, and 33s.  Vinyl is back in a BIG way!
