great service, able repair, considerate people, terrific experience. I am a new resident, living around the corner. The front door is very NOT upscale, the shop housed with a laundry and international money transfer service. I had a watch whose band had come apart, so my repair was external, requiring experience but only a moment's attention, which is not the kind of client a retail jeweler relishes. I walked in, and five people were inline, so I waited, and I am glad I did. Quickly the customers ahead did their business, and the jeweler took my watch, listened to my request, dropped his magnifying mask down, fixed the band in thirty seconds and suggested I, "go in Peace!" with a kind smile, which is not the usual facial expression in this cross-cultural setting, where suspicion rules everyone's first reaction. I asked, "how much do I owe you? "Go in peace," the smiling fellow said, as he resumed his serious face and took the next customer's merchandise for sale. I walked out feeling ...read more

I took two watches in for a simple battery replacement. One was a Movado that had never had the battery replaced and had hardly been worn. Rather than admit they could not do the job properly, they used a tool with teeth to hold the watch and damaged it. They were diffcult and unapologetic about the damage, but told me to get a quote for the repair after my insistance. After taking the time to get the quote they told me that they would not bother responding to me and that they had no intention of rectifying it, telling me, "These things happen". When it comes to making beautiful jewelry my friends and I really do our thing here in Baltimore, Maryland. You are looking at the first piece from my wedding collection titled "Bliss". I'm still waiting for the right person to wear this piece at her wedding. When Ms. Felinda from beadspace.com saw this piece she wrote, "This is a woman who carries her beauty inside and out and is confident enough not to worry when a few strands of hair fall over her cheek. She's got solid core values, but isn't judgmental. She's not afraid to live or experiment with new things, and she doesn't care if not everyone sees things the way she does." Amazing words that left a tear in my eye. It summed up my entire collection. My wedding line is focused on the bride only. This bride would desire an intimate wedding with few family and friends.
