Ameriplanis a true business so there are some small costs involved with running a successful business and we are lucky enough to be able to start for only $50 bucks. Remember, this $50 isn't a monthly bill but instead the cost of making an income. You would spend WAY more then $50 a month to earn your paycheck if you were working OUTSIDE the home. Not only does working outside the home cost more then owning an Ameriplan business but again, the $50 is what gives you the power to earn. For example if you owned a successful ebay business selling, say CROCS, then you have to spend $1900 a month buying CROCS in order to make the $3000 a month you make. So is that $1900 something you can't afford? Do you consider it another montlhy bill? No, you don't. Its the cost of running your ebay business and its the cost associated with being about to net $3000 a month. This is a true example from friend Amy's old ebay business. SO, you can imagine that its amazing for me now to own a Ameriplan Business and instead of having a $1900 a month overhead I only have a $50 a month overhead! Its awesome!!!! But, if that doesn't show you enough....check out how much you ACTUALLY PAY to work outside the home and you will see, you can't afford NOT TO pay the $50 monthly overhead and earn money from home.... Don't make the mistake of thinkingworking from homecosts you too much money. It's working outside the home that will make a person go broke! Here is what happens to an average household where the Mother and Father decide the mother needs to go back to work to bring in some extra income. At the end of the year (or during it) while the mother is now working the family can't understand why, since the mother has gone back to work, are they still living paycheck to paycheck. "I don't understand how us brining in the additional income seems to not have helped a bit" they all end up saying to themselves. The reason is below and this is what happens when that mother "goes back to work" outside the home. At a national average the monther will make about $20,000 a year going back to work for 30-40 hours per week. Health WARNING: Reading the following accurate statistics could cause someone to fall off their chair and seriously injure themselves! PLEASE TAKE CAUTION! (Numbers below are from the Best Selling Book "Lower Your Taxes Big Time" by Sandy Botkin, CPA, J.D. who is the former Attorney that trained all of the IRS Attorneys) $20,000 Gross Average Income ($4,845) State and Federal Taxes ($1,530) Social Security Taxes ($1,313) Car Expenses Getting to and From work (@ 50 miles a week) ($6,250) Child Care (@ only $125 a week)(where can you get quality day care for $125 a week?) ($1,750) Lunches while at work ($1,200) Business Clothes and Dry Cleaing ($2,000) Higher Monthly Food Expense (Due to eating out when both parents are too tired from full time jobs to cook every night) ________ $1,112 Net take-home income for the YEAR!!!! Now not 100% of these above expenses will apply to you. Some won't have to pay for childcare but for the most part, now matter how you slice it, they will all apply to you! You can certainly see the picture here. No wonder "going back to work" for one parent hasn't made a difference. They only increased their true income by $23 a week!!!!! What happens when instead of "going back to work" outside the home to "help" with finances does the person decide to open a home business instead? The average rep pays: $100 a month overhead (on the higher end) $75 month marketing $35 a month phone with unlimited long distance The average rep receives about $20,000 or more in right offs due to owning ahome business. The average rep makes about $20,000 - $25,000 their frist year. THUS...... $25,000 Gross Income ($1,200) ($100 month overhead x 12 months) ($900) ($75 month marketing x 12 months) ($420) ($35 month phone x 12 months) ($496) TOTAL in all taxes for the year including state, income, medicaid and social security because of all the deductions we get ---------------------------------------- = $21,984TOTAL NET INCOME FOR THE FIRST YEAR working only part time (not full time) Which is more? $21,984 owning an Ameriplan business working from home part time or $1,112 a year working outside the home, full time for someone else? (***Please note for individuals the normal statistics above may vary slightly for example a person may spend $100 a month on marketing not $75 or a person might not have a child to put into daycare if working outside the home) I hope this allows you to see that your home business isn't costing you, it's saving you, on average thousands of dollars per year!
