I have been going to the this center since 2010 - my husband used to go here, he fell ill and I went back. As a female I feel that I am getting the best deal possible and I trust Pete, and the mechanics 100% - they do not try and sell you something you do not need. INFACT NEGATIVE ZERO STARS. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAGUE!!!!! Their only goal is to rip you off! I decided to give these guys a try from my regular mechanic as they were close to my workplace and it was more convenient. I was given a quote of ~$800 to fix some belts, rear brakes and a few other things. I declined the brakes and the total came to ~$600. Next day the problem with the belts was still there so I returned the car few days later. I decided to go ahead and fix the brakes and requested a quote. Now I don't know if they think people are stupid but I received a call back giving me a quote of $867 just to fix rear brakes (rotor, calipers & pads). Yes that's right folks $867 and they had the nerve to tell me I was getting a discount of $194. Meaning the total was $1061. I took my car (2001 nissan, nothing fancy at all) back to my regular mechanic and he just fixed it for $280. Yes just $280 compared to $1061. They are THEIVES AT MONRO - THEIVES, SCA ...read more
