When I was looking into Day Care for my 3 month old daughter I was a little nervous I wouldn't know what to look for. I didn't know what questions to ask. Barbara helped walk me through her day and explained what it is like to be apart of her Day Care family. I knew immediatly when I met her that I was going to be able to trust her and that my daughter would be in safe, capable hands while I have to work. And believe me, I visited other places and there is nooo way I would have left my baby there! It feels good knowing my daughter is happy, healthy and growing and learning at such an amazing place! My daughter was enrolled in barbara's daycare for about two years. I was devastated when we had to remove her because we were moving..Barbara was absolutely wonderful with her..My daughter was happy and excited to go to her home everyday. A fun Day in the Sun...
Today we where able to play outside for a short amount of time before the rain took over. We got to dance to music, play with play do, and pop bubbles! The Easter Bunny brought Miss Barbara a new bubble machine for us for Easter!!! It is really cool and blows really big bubbles. We like to play play do outside on the deck it doesn't make such a mess. When the rain started we had to hurry up and run inside, we still got to dance with Miss Barbara and we had a visitor come today to check out our daycare. We hope they liked us, we are hoping some new children will be coming to join us soon to play. After naptime we where able to go outside again and ride bikes and play in the sand table. Hump day at Tiny Tot's Family Day Care...
It looks like the rain may end today...rain, rain, go away we want to go outside and play! The girls have spent the morning playing house with their baby dolls, it is a quiet Wednesday. We had story time and read three books; Elmo's ABC Book, Thomas&Friends Blue Train, Green Train, and It's Potty time. Yesterday we had lots of fun with blocks, farm animals, singing and dancing. One way we like to work of the childrens energy on these rainy days is to put on fun dance music and dance, dance, dance. ...read more

A day at Tiny Tots...
Today was a very rainy Monday, some may think keeping a 16 month old, a 21 month old and a 4 month old busy would be difficult but all you need is some bean bags and some baskets from the dollar store and lots of laughs. After breakfast while the baby napped, the two girls and I used bean bags in different colors and shapes to toss into baskets. Then we lined them up across the floor and talked about the shapes and colors. The girls can pick out the circles and the triangles. Once we where bored with this it was onto farm time, little farm animals and the famous old McDonald song, sung at least 5 times lol. We read stories and of course had to watch the Wiggles. That's how we get our morning dancing exercise. We had a very yummy lunch of baked chicken, rice pilaf, peas&carrots;, yogurt and banana's with whole milk. Then it was nap time. During naptime our little miss baby gets to bounce and have lots of floor and one on one time with me. After nap it is snack time of goldfish and 100% apple juice, the girls wanted to color so we colored a picture for our mommies and daddies then we went back to play with the bean bags. I think that was their favorite activity of the day. Now they are gone home and my house is quiet and I am planning new adventures for tomorrow, since it is going to be raining I am thinking we might need to have a flashlight hunt... ...read more
