My friend uses Ginas Daycare and she said it is a good, safe, clean place. But, she likes the place only because the assistant is so good, caring, and very knowledgeable. The owner and provider (Gina) does not seem to be very proactive or knowledgeable to my neighbor. She also notices some apparent laziness on provider part. I may check it out myself, but the advice I got is that it is good as long as that same assistant (Stephana?) is there. Would not recommend the place if assistant ever leaves. ...read more

Gina's is a small home daycare. My niece takes her child there and sort of says what prior review said. It is safe, clean, wonderful hours, and very trustworthy. Children are happy. But, my niece has a couple of things she is a bit concerned about. (1) Seems like they take in more children that the space is big enough for . (2) The provider (Gina) is rarely seen doing anything when parents arrive, and frequently sitting down letting her assistant do all the running around. That might concern me/us if Gina has that habit all day only only one person (her wonderful assistant) is truly taking care of the children as we don't think any one person can properly give excellent attention to so many children. Gina's Childcare is a wonderful place to take your child as it is nice, well located, safe, personalized attention, and convenient hours. But, from what I hear from my cousin and another person taking child there, the childcare assistant is a doll in terms of care! Children go crazy for her and she is so dedicated, hardworking, and dependable. But, not so with owner of daycare (Gina). Parents suggest that she is never seen doing anything, always found on couch sitting, and letting her assistant run the place almost without help. So, if you use them. be observant as one assistant cannot possibly effectively watch over 5 , 6 , or 7 children!
