I was never treated so disrespectfully in a Massachusetts hill town, as I was at the Wendell Country Store. It appears to be an extended family running the place, none of whom have any respect for their patrons. They curse and swear at each other in the store, they disrespect people who take exception to the behavior and culture that is present there. I would never go there again. Furthermore their selection of convenience groceries is musty, crusty and out of date, their pastries are likewise, and I don't see what thye have to offer to anyone, outside of the people who live in Wendell and haven't got a car or enough gas to get to proper stores in a nearby town. ...read more

I have rarely been treated so disrespectfully and aggressively as I was at this place today; and this despite the fact that I have been a frequent customer. Incivility is all the style these days, apparently. If you don't want to be treated disrespectfully, don't go to the Wendell Country Store. ...read more
