Bait and switch just about sums up my experience at Boston IVF. I met with a charming well qualified doctor who had won awards for my initial consultation, but never saw him again for any of my follow up visits or procedures. In fact, a trainee who had to be supervised performed my transfer even though my appointment was scheduled with one of the more qualified doctors. I was never asked for my consent to have the trainee perform the procedure, she just took over in the procedure room, which was very distressing to me, as we only had one viable embryo. Needless to say the procedure was not successful and my experience was very unsatisfactory. Boston IVF claims that this is standard practice for them and that they were not in the wrong for not asking my permission to have a trainee do the procedure. I find this truly scary. ...read more

This was the worst IVF experience. They were always at least an hour for every appoinment, including procedures. During one of my last procedures the Dr said I coughed and did not continue she ruined my best cycle. Her response was oh well. The Dr there told me I was done after three ivf's that there was no hope for us, went to another clinic and now have beautiful twin daughters. My 'treatment' was in 1989 - and I will NEVER forget what they did to me. After a career as an RN, I can say I have never met a more unprofessional bunch of vile individuals.
