Customer service is non existent after they swipe your credit card. Phone calls are never returned, and no one will ever call to see if you are happy with the installation. When you do need corrections made after installed ( counter not level), installer never called to arrange appointment as promised by Cassa. The installation is rushed, template is made with a piece of cardboard. Cassa never offered to remove the counter prior to templating which would result in a more professional fit (and we hired them for the removal. ) it is a nice showroom and they are very friendly up until the point of sale, but be cautious about the installation process. I don't mind paying extra to have the job done correctly, but it is twice as disappointing when it it not. Shop around and inform yourself about granite installs and don't go here. ...read more

They canceled on me 3 times, twice the night before and once on the day of. When they finally came out I was told I had to pay more money or they would leave. The Office Manager, Diane, was awful to deal with. She called me screaming at me demanding more money for a part of the job that was never even completed. She then threatened to take me to small claims court. After my installation was completed there were large tire marks all over my yard as well as a lot of grass ripped up. I had a very bad experience and would not recommend. ...read more

We went there to select our stone counter tops for our new house. Sonia assisted us and we selected the stones. Then, she provided us with an estimate after a few different quoted prices. She said we had to pay the full up-charge over the builders allowance which we did. After getting home we reviewed the charges and realized the exuberant prices they were charging us so we decided to cancel the order after 2 days. I went to the store to get our credit cards credited and the lady at the counter said I had to get the credit with Sonia who had worked with us because she couldn't process the credits. I returned the next day and was told by Sonia that she could not process the credits and it would take a 2-3 days and it would need to be done by the bookkeeper. After a few days she emailed us to say that the bookkeeper had the paperwork and they would be providing us the credits. Its been nearly 3 weeks and they still have not credited our credit cards. They are unprofessional and not to be trusted. Sonia and this company should not be allowed to do business in MA. I also have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. ...read more

Swimming Pool Inspections For Real Estate Agents and Companies

Here is what a swimming pool inspection for inground pools should consist of. The intent of a pool inspection is to evaluate the current condition of all accessible pool components and the inspection consists of four phases: 1.Pool and deck- This includes the pool and deck surface condition (cracks, discoloration, and pitting) and the coping surrounding the pool (open joints, cracking). Drains are inspected for the presence of anti-vortex covers for safety reasons.2.Pool equipment. This includes inspection of pumps, pressure test lines, check if filters work and need cleaning, piping, disconnects, heaters, controls, accessories and skimmers.3.Pool operation. This includes operation of the pump, inspection for leakage, proper skimming and filtration and filter pressure. Upon completion of the pool inspection a detailed report will be generated.  Fred owns www.Pieceofthebeachpool.com and does Pool Inspections throughout Worcester County in Ma and in parts of Rhode Island. ...read more

Tips For Winterizing An InGround Pool Correctly

Winterizing And Inground Pool. Pool Closing because you want  to avoid future and expensive repairs.  Make sure your closing Pool Service Company follows these suggestions.  We request you  have the following closing supplies. The cover, the water tubes, the plugs for the skimmers (gizzmos), return jets and winterizing chemicals.  A professional will have an air compressor or a powerful shop vac.  We need this equipment for truoble free winterization. The green Gizzmos that we'd use to plug your skimmers will crack eventually so make sure that they are not cracked before we arrive. Gizzmos with holes or cracks will not work.
