Checked in for the last night of a three night trip. First room was too noisy. I could hear the neighbor's music like there was no wall. I asked for a different room. Got settled in and the neighbors started in. I turned up the television, they turned up their conversation. The second room also had coffee but no coffee maker, the telephone on the desk didn't work, and after a little bit of time I began to itch like there were bugs in the room. (The clue should have been the dead cricket on the floor when I walked in.)\t\nI called the desk and was hot. He offered to ask my neighbors to quiet down. I didn't see that happening. Did he think they didn't realize they were in a hotel?\t\nI took a shower and was going to leave but I paid nearly $150 for the room so I went to the desk and asked for a quiet, clean room in which I could sleep. I'm on the second floor hoping to get a good night's sleep before finishing my 1700 mile drive tomorrow. \t\nIf you HAVE to stay here, get a coupon book from one of the rest stops on the way, you can save nearly fifty dollars a night. I wouldn't stay here again. ...read more

Appetizers leave us salivating and anxiously awaiting our entrees. For starters, our server provides us with a pre-appetizer treat ? or more aptly ? a tease. As a courtesy of the chef, we sip on a particularly scrumptious, somewhat spicy spoonful of ginger carrot soup. From there, the handcrafted gnocci?s slightly rubbery texture meshes wonderfully with a unique blend of light, savory tomato broth and sliky-soft chunks of braised ribs, and this is unequivocally the standout dish of the evening. My wife?s wild mushroom tartlet with boar sausage is perfectly warmed and not overly flaxy, a tendency inferior concoctions tend to have. Entrees are almost equally divine and portions more than generous. I would have preferred my Long Island Duck ?Two Ways? served as only ?One Way.? While the meat on the bone is moist, the task of actually getting to it proves to be difficult. The skin is unbearably buttery, and prohibits full enjoyment in conjunction with the meat itself. The other half of the duck is entirely off the bone, and cooked perfectly medium rare. The accompanying spatzle and asparagus tips are simple and fun, and do not overpower the duck itself. My wife?s succulent thick cut pork chop, however, is the far superior dish, with its blend of artichokes, pickled shallots, roasted potatoes, and garlic sauce. We finish with a dessert that comes highly touted by our server, and it would be an understatement if we said she is spot-on with her suggestion. A raspberry lindsor torte served warm with graham cracker ice cream melts in the mouth. I am left licking my fork and craving more of this delectable dish. Leverage - Use it or lose it!

Here's an idea that a few of our customers use to be more efficient and leverage all the services thatRestaurants To Youoffers. They send us their calendars at the start of every month with all the meetings they have scheduled that will need food. They add some simple notes: # of people, hot or cold meal, address, and phone. Sometimes they want a specific restaurant, most times they don't.  If arranging for a meeting is your job, arrange it. But unless your job description also includes the skills of a caterer, call us once the meeting is scheduled and we will take care of anything and everything you don't want to think about. Cuisine, menu, timing, serving style ... everything. It's that easy. Can you think of how to leverage that service to your benefit? Do you know others who could also? We would appreciate a referral. ...read more
