We stayed here for New Year's on a long weekend. The room was nice and cozy and the staff was very friendly. Everything was great and we're looking forward to going back in the spring. The biggest plus was that the inn is in walking distance to everything so you don't have to worry about finding parking. After purchasing a "block" of time, I had Axis Computers set up my small network in my office in Newburyport. I would have to say the support was very poor. After my system crashed and I could not get onto my accounting software, it took them weeks to get back to me. I actually had to spend an entire Saturday getting my system partially working by myself, which was very annoying, since they already had my money. Automatic delivery did not come through in a timely manner and I have been forced to request delivery 3 times this week. Was told we did not need gas the previous 2 calls....now on hold listening to your recorded pitch on how great you are... and we are down to 15 gallons. Two tanks empty. Using 30+/day. When you are in trouble in your life all you want is someone to fix it. Some of us are so crazy that we will go to any length for a reputable doctor and so I put myself on the waiting list for Dr. Ablow. I doubt there was a waiting list. I think they do that for the pretend prestige and importance of image. But almost $600 a session, I gave him a couple hours of my time. I don't feel better. I feel worse. I don't know how this guy ever because a doctor in the first place. He does not listen, he is preoccupied with phone calls and e-mails just like the other reviews it is appalling. He pretends that he has this sense of compassion and its believeable but that quickly goes away once you realize this isn't the doctor you can count on to make you better. Reputation and name mean little when it comes to your health. Go with a friend referral, or look up someone who cares. But this guy all about his gain. I learned more about him then he did about me. And I feel I'm worse off then I was. Take a chance if you want to throw away money. Otherwise there are so many other qualified people who do care in this area. This guy is all about his inventions, his latest puppets to his cat licker. He will prescribe pretty much anything that could make you worse. Weigh your choices heavily. Dr. Ablow or just Keith is a pretty well-known guy being on FOX and having written multiple best-selling books. I was on a waiting list for a long time in order to finally get a chance to have a consult with the famous psychiatrist. I went a few times. Not impressed. He is an arrogant SOB and he really is the type that is all in it for the money. It is a shame because it seems he has a good patient flow but I wonder how much of their savings they are digging out. I also have similar complaints from past reviewers- don't ask me about something personal and sit at your computer and type. Or God forbid you try a phone session with him because you are in a crunch for time, he's likely to be in a room full of people. Arrogant, self-centered, and narcissistic. I was blown away by how he flaunts his dough and his perceived "power" but he has a terrible reputation in the small town of Newburyport. If I were on my death bed he would be the last person I would call. Find someone who cares. This guy just does it as part of his daily routine not realizing he is ruining people's lives. DONT DO IT!
