Brought SUV in for inspection sticker. Alan tells my 18 year old son there's a problem with Emergency Brake. We drop it off 8:00 am next day. Alan says he'll call with an Estimate. According to Comcast phone log and voice mail - no message left and no missed calls to our #, yet Alan claims he's been calling all morning. Wife was home till 10:30 AM too! We call him at 1pm - when he tells us it is about $750 to fix. I said forget it - I'll go elsewhere. Tells me he has it all apart and can do just 1 side allowing us to get sticker. Says it'll be about $350. I'm upset but limited by choice (moving daughter in sweltering heat in Boston). Get the bill the next day for $496.14 (about 33% higher).
