I am 27 and do not have any children. I initially began going to Women's Health Care because they were close to where I lived at the time and accepted my insurance. I have been a patient there for 3-4 years and until recently, had no strong feelings good or bad about Women's Health Care. Like most women, I went for my annual simply because I needed a refill for my birth control. Since annuals are pleasant I typically put off scheduling until last minute and as a result, have seen a different provider every time. Most recently however, I saw a midwife and had an amazing experience. She spent about 45 minutes with me which I found to be pleasantly surprising. My advice would be to see a nurse practitioner or midwife. Nurse practitioners and midwives seem to have the flexibility in there schedule to treat you as more of an individual rather than a number. \t\n\t\nI will be moving out of the area and am so sad to have to leave my midwife behind. My greatest complaint is the phone system...its obnoxious. I happened to be the first appointment of the day and running late due to construction and had no way of contacting someone directly in the office. ...read more

I have been going to Tallman's for several years but the operations and the service provided at the different branches are broad. I found Lawrence to be a very large operation, efficient and customer focus and relies more on technology that old fashion vision care and diagnostics. Amesbury Office is more on the old fashion side and customer relations and support is more prevalent and friendly. Haverhill Office staff when I went were efficient and the doctors were great, but the some how trying to get help after waiting 7 weeks for trial contacts is hopeless. I have been transferred around, left voice messages with no call back, hung up on after being placed on hold for 10 minutes. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth and very frustrated. I have not had a bad Doctor yet but once you leave the office with that piece of paper in hand the rest is less that stellar. ...read more
