Greatest band of all time
This is probably one of the most discussed topics in music. everyone has they're own opinion of who this mysterious group may be. and i am no different. i have my own opinion and i am rightfully entitled to it, just as you are rightfully entitled to yours. so who is this band i think is better then the rest? it is a band who in my eyes is grossly under rated. none other than, Queen. That's right. and just like everyone else i have my reasons which i will now share with you. first off they're sound is amazing. and best of all each song sounds different. not to mention how much they revolutionized rock and roll. everything from music videos to stage performances. another important aspect is longevity. not a year goes by where someone doesn't make a commercial or a movie even a TV show that has a queen song in it. and whens the last sporting event you went to that didn't have the oh so familiar sounds flowing from the bleachers, stomp stomp clap, stomp stomp clap. to this day there has been no one who can even come close to Freddie Mercury when it comes to vocal abilities. unfortunately some people can't get past the fact he was gay. big deal. with the way he could sing and put on one hell of a show, who cares what gender he preferred. the man was a lyrical genius. speaking of genius we cant forget about Brian May. a man, who as at just 16 built his own guitar from a mantle. and since then he has mastered the his chosen instrument. the sounds he could make from his guitar are equal to none. i personally has a fascination for astro-physics. so to know the guitarist of my favorite band got his PhD for his thesis on interplanetary dust. this may not be much to you, but to me it's fascinating. he is responsible for my interest in guitars.Roger Taylor is the person who inspired me to play drums. he is personally responsible for my love of music. without him Moon Dragon Guitars would not exist. there is no words that can describe accurately enough how much he influenced my life. ...read more
