Have you been there, cause if you haven't you need to go. Not only is the owner the most helpful and sweet owner you'll ever find but he gives great advice on what sort of shooz you should buy. It's hard to believe this is the first review for this busy little shoe store right in the heart of Coolidge Corner. Try and make your trip in the afternoon or early evening so you can spend some time with the proprietor, a kibitzer from the old school, who by the way, is happy to order what he doesn't have in stock at the moment. If you are a collector of funky ballet flats, this is the store for you and you can always find a pair of well made cold weather boots. Customers tend to shop cooperatively, asking each other's opinions on style, etc which makes for a casual atmosphere. Though prices aren't discounted, the range is broad and selection very wide if you are looking for flats especially. Many of the styles would be impossible to find elsewhere and range from calf hair white and pink leopard prints & subtle bronze metallics to your basic soft black ballet flat. Also available are a good selection of Merrell and other ""comfort"" shoes for both men and women as well as an excellent selection of Uggs, Crocs and cute rain boots. But do make sure to meet the owner, Sam, for a real shopping experience! ...read more
