I used Anthony Movers (also listed as Big Hill Movers) for my recent move. Anthony Aldrich is the owner of this company, and he also appears to operate Big Hill Movers and This & That Consignment. I experienced all of the following (see below) during my move with Anthony Movers. Anthony told me (by phone and text) after his movers left with my property but prior to delivery at my new residence, that there were extra charges involved than originally agreed upon. The following threats were made, by Anthony, to me, as he threatened to take undesirable actions unless I paid the added charges: - He told me that they would not unload the truck - He told me that they would not deliver my belongings to my new nor old residence and unload - He told me that they would take my property to storage and charge me extra moving and storage fees Anthony had my belongings held overnight and I had to pay extra charges to receive my property. Additionally, his employees damaged my home while moving furniture and then threatened to withhold the rest of my belongings if we did not provide documentation (text sent to Anthony) stationing that their company was not liable for the damage. This is known as extortion. If you are an investigator examining his business practices, feel free to reply to my posting with contact information and I'd be happy to reach out directly. Anthony still has not paid me the $300 he forced me in extra charges, compensation for the damages caused by his employees, nor compensation for the additional time and stress caused by his actions. I have just returned home from Shepherd Vet and have had yet another bad experience with them. I found them difficult to deal with in the past and therefore do not take my animals there. Since they are close, though, I do sometimes pick up prescription dog and cat food there as well as the occasional prescription. I picked up food and a script this afternoon. I called ahead and asked when they could have it ready and they said a half an hour. I waited an hour and then headed over. I waited more than 5 minutes before the receptionist came into the waiting area. I asked for the 2 food orders and the script. She got the food (including putting the 35 lb. bag of dog food in my car which was very nice) and told me that the tech was filling the script and would print out the invoice and give it to her. I asked how long it would be. She said just another minute or so. Time passed� I read my book for a while�.. and then I asked again. She checked and came back and told me that she was working on it. More time passed�another chapter�. so I asked again. She asked if I was out of the med and I said no, but I did not want to have to come back if it was almost ready. She assured me that it was going to be just another minute. After another 10 minutes or so, the tech came into view and picked up the record and began to fill the script. I was flabbergasted that I had been lied to. As I check out, I told the receptionist that I would have preferred to have been told that it had not been started and then I could have made the decision to leave or wait. She began to berate me. She told me that they are not a pharmacy and cannot guarantee when something would be ready. I had called ahead and was told half an hour. I waited double that and was still kept waiting for 30 minutes after not being told the truth about where my dog�s script was in the process.
