I gave notice of needing a ride to the airport 1 week in advance. I was assured of a pickup at 2:15 PM. At 2:20 I called and was assured the ride was on its way. At 2:35, still no taxi I called again and was told the driver would be contacted and I would receive a call right back. At 2:45, still no taxi. I called several times and nobody would answer. (and the mailbox was full). I drove to the airport and paid $264 to park for 12 days. Upon returning home I called for an explanation ....I was told the manager would call back in 5 or 6 minutes. Try using these companies cab today in south boston, and the guy was rude, did not even try to communicate or roll down his window once he saw my skin tone, than to rub salt on the wounds, preceded to roll down the window when 2 white males and on white female approach to cab after I just did.\t\n\t\nToday was my first time in South Boston for the parade and this cab driver (mid 50's white/gray hair sporting a golfer type hat) kind of ruin the end. \t\n\t\nI'll make sure to tell all my friends associate's and family not to use this company. \t\n\t\nOn the other hand Checker Cab company (which I used to get to south boston and ended taking back service was amazing both in price and service) ...read more
