Well, we went to this place today....seafood looked good, but it had 'that smell". Anyway, we ended up buying a dozen ears of corn and we were treated to the old 'bait and switch". Before we could pick our own ears from the display, the guy working there loaded a bag for us from behind the counter. Our own fault for not checking i guess...when we got home and shucked them we found that he gave us corn that was not fresh like the sample they had displayed and the guy thinks a dozen is only 11 . Nice nursery from what I could tell. There is a free-roaming dog that looks friendly enough but changes very quickly. \t\n\t\nShame, would have liked to have spent more time there if not for the dog growling and snapping. Won't be going back there. ...read more

I had never purchased nor cooked lobster before and decided to serve lobster for Easter dinner, just for a change. Based on recommendations I had heard, I purchased the lobster from Colony Farms in Auburn. They were open Easter morning, so was able to pick them up fresh that same day. The gentleman that explained to me how to cook them gave me all the details on how to store them before I cooked them and how to cook them. They came out perfect and my guests were delighted.
