About Lucky Dutchman Charters & Lodge
Lucky Dutchman Charters / Feeder Creek Lodge is a charter fishing and lodging business that was started in 1987. You can book one of our packages where you get comfortable quality accommodations and a complimentary continental breakfast along with your fishing charter at a very affordable price. Reviews about Lucky Dutchman Charters & Lodge
A fabulous trip!
Myself, and three other friends, took off on May 18th for a full day of fishing for browns with Capt. Bill. We had such a great time fishing on the lucky Dutchman that we decided to make our trip an annual event. I highly recommend the Lucky Dutchman to anyone desiring a fun and exciting adventure on Lake Ontario.

Spring fishing forecast for Eastern Lake Ontario
For the last five or six years now, Barbara and I close the Feeder Creek Lodge and we winterize the Lucky Dutchman II and we spend our winters in Florida. While we are in Florida we visit with our two daughters and our grandchildren, do a little fishing, and enjoy the warmth and sunshine. While I am in Florida, I keep a close eye on the weather back in Oswego County, not just to rub it in on my friends when they are knee deep in lake effect snow, but because the winter weather has a direct ef... Since we have launched we have been fishing every few days on the Lucky Dutchman II and the brown trout fishing has been excellent. The salmon fishing has been OK but not as good as the near shore brown trout fishing. I have been fishing from the port of Oswego and the early fishing around the harbor has been very good. Around the 14th of May the alewives, which are the principal forage fish in the lake, moved in to spawn in the rivers and creeks which flow into the lake. This influx of so mu... The weather this spring delayed my launch of the Lucky Dutchman II from the 15th to the 19th of april. I ran my frist charter of the year on the 20th and we had a great time. We limited out on brown trout and caught and realeased a few more. We were fishing a little East of the Oswego Harbor in 10 to 20 feet of water and we were using smithwick and rappal stickbaits on the surface lines and Michigan Stinger spoons on the downriggers set shallow at 4 and 6 feet down. So far this year most of m... READ MORE Posted May 01, 2007 at 07:16 AMLucky Dutchman Charters & Lodge Connections
