I went in after searching every store in the mall for a sweater dress. As soon as I entered the store I was being helped. I am not good at putting fashion together and the lady put together one of the best outfits I have ever had. The prices on the clothes are good but, next time I will stay away from the jewelry. I purchased a gift card for my mother over Christmas and the sales representative gave a two month expiration on the card. When I mentioned the date she explained that was their policy. For Louisiana businesses it is unlawful per Act 69 of R.S. 51:1423 that no gift card shall have an expiration of less than five years. An article concerning the law can be read on the State Treasury website. When my mother approached the business she asked for a refund of the card because of the unlawful practice and they refused. They have offered to extend the life of the card but not the required time by LA law. The business has not changed their two month policy even though they were presented the law. I advise Monroe/West Monroe residents to either stay away from the business or submit a complaint to the LA Attorney General if you have received a gift card from K-Sera. ...read more
